Volunteer
Being a nonprofit entity, the MMMF relies heavily on the helping hands of hundreds of people from the community. Over 300 volunteers donated their time and energy, and we are so thankful for all of the help! If you didn’t volunteer this year and are interested in getting involved for 2009, please scroll down for the details, and the volunteer application will be available late in 2008. Thanks again to everyone from the community that helped make it one rocking weekend!

Who can apply to volunteer?
Anyone over the age of 16 years old (except alcohol serving/purchasing areas 21+ only) with a VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE OR SCHOOL ID.

What you get...
For every scheduled shift you work (scheduled shifts do vary between 4 to 6 hours) you will receive a GENERAL ADMISSION ticket for   the day that you volunteer. You will also receive a Volunteer T-shirt for each day that you volunteer. One on Friday, one on Saturday if you come back. Snacks, water and soda will be provided. Food is available for purchase at the WestWorld Food Vendor locations throughout the Festival Grounds.

When the shifts are...

    • AM SHIFT - FULL –FULL – NO LONGER AVAILABLE
    • MID- DAY SHIFT – FULL – NO LONGER AVAILABLE
    • PM SHIFT - FULL – NO LONGER AVAILABLE

We are actively seeking reliable individuals age 16+ to help out in the following areas:

Tickets / Will Call
Duties include taking tickets, redeeming tickets at will call, handing out fliers, ticket scanning, monitoring the entry / exit points

Silent Auction / Raffle Tent
Assisting the Shift Leader with sales, sign-up sheets and monitoring auction items.

Merchandise Tent
Checking / monitoring inventory, sales, and helping with set-up/take down of Festival and Band merchandise.

VIP AREA (21+ only)
Duties include ID checking, monitoring entry/exit points, handing out VIP t-shirts, assisting with merchandise sales in VIP Area; clean up with tables, assisting any VIP staff and management. With the importance and popularity of this category, applicants must be willing to come to mandatory training sessions and are subject to a comprehensive interview in person/ or by phone.

Trash / Recycle Stations
Some of the cushiest seats in the house! Duties include sitting in shaded trash/recycle/compost areas throughout the Festival grounds and assisting the Trash Rovers when they drive by with any loading / unloading. The most important function of this job is directing and assisting Festival guests which bin to throw there trash in: general trash, recycle or compost.

Camping Check – In
Duties include assisting the Shift Leader with checking in all of the happy campers, working with paperwork, clarification of rules, assisting with loading / unloading of camping supplies.

What you will do AFTER you submit your application...
Once submitted, please be patient as we schedule you in as we best see fit for you and us! You will then be contacted via email/phone for shift assignments. You MUST confirm that you have received the shift assignment and either call back and speak with a representative or email us back your confirmation. ANY SHIFTS NOT CONFIRMED WITHIN 1 WEEK OF CONTACT MAY BE REPLACED AND YOU WILL NEED TO BE RESCHEDULED.

Your best bet?
To get what you want, where you want and when you want it, you need to submit as soon as possible. Keep checking your emails and voicemails and confirm with us as soon as possible. When it is filled, it is filled!
