John Butler Trio

The John Butler Trio is many things to many people. To their ever growing fan base it is purely about the musical journey, the groove of the Trio, the soul of the guitar and honesty and integrity of John's lyrics. The US-born, Australian-raised Butler and his band members have promoted many causes, including tsunami relief, Hurricane Katrina aid and world poverty.

Blues Traveler

Widely recognized by frontman John Popper and his explosive harmonica solos, Blues Traveler emerged in the early 1990’s with a unique blues / rock sound that has continued to expand their fan base for over a decade. From what began as a high school garage band in Princeton, New Jersey in the mid 1980s; harmonicist, singer and guitarist John Popper, Chan Kinchla on guitar, his younger brother Tad on bass, Brendan Hill on drums and Ben Wilson on keyboards have been bringing animated live shows and heavy touring since the bands’ inception. Memorable tracks include “Run-Around” and “Hook”, both from their studio album Four, which earned the group a Grammy for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
The Wailers

Tremendously popular in their native Jamaica with previous front man and national hero Bob Marley, The Wailers continue as reggae music's most effective international voice, providing songs of determination and faith around the globe.

JJ Grey & Mofro
3:30 pm to 5:00 pm
From gritty funk to contemplative country soul, JJ Grey and MOFRO occupy a distinctive space in the music world. Like the best of great southern novelists, Grey fills his songs with stories that are vivid, personal and universal.

Toubab Krewe
1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Blending Malian, American, and "Dirty South" influences into a genre all their own, Toubab Krewe has set a new standard for the fusion of rock 'n' roll and West African music. Members of the group developed their unique sound over the course of numerous extended trips to West Africa, where they immersed themselves in the local culture and studied and performed with masters such as Lamine Soumano, Vieux Kante, Madou Dembele, and Koungbanan Conde.

Mojo Farmers

12:45 pm
Straight out of Tempe, Ariz., the Mojo Farmers strive to create a unique sound that effortlessly provides the audience with something to groove and dance to, have fun with and reflect upon. Formed in 2000, the Mojo Farmers members include Tim Olsen, Norm Herd, Jim King, Bill Baker and Chris Losey.

Peppermint James
11:00 am to 11:45 am
Local band Peppermint James shares a variety of eclectic influences including The Beatles, The Wailers and old school funk. The Band's sounds are continually evolving through the study of many world instruments and musicians, and believe there is no limit as to what can take shape musically.
